  1. Hi John, Another great episode! I’m definitely with you on the part relating to Sauroman’s colors. If I may say so myself, I think that the white colors of his robes are a synonym of the purity of Sauroman. And with his robe now containing all colors which will result in white, he appears to be pure. But is it no longer, for he broke the white light as Tolkien stated in “breaking the object to look what it is made of” and its the reason why Gandalf becomes the White, as he states he becomes what Sauroman should have been. ‘Pure’ (meaning not corrupted). These are some of my thoughts on it.

    As for the poem I send in for last week, it translates to:
    O hers beautiful
    Elbereth Starkindler
    O my beloved

    Greetings Lars

  2. Mr. Carswell,
    Here is haiku for the episode! I hope I made it in time!

    Ash nazg durbatuluk
    Perilous journey begins
    The Nine go south.

    Flame of the West; Sting;
    Mithril; all to protect Frodo.

  3. Hi John, Hereby my haiku for the upcoming chapter:

    Sought intelligence
    For a perilous journey
    Pippin won’t avail
